Re_Run
Just tried RODs and no I don't work for them... My tank went nuts for it.. going to give it a month and see. but at regular feeding time even finiky eaters went crazy. was really suprized you got to give it a try, well worth the cost. CoralCrazy
That's what I used when I first started. Loved it but it isn't carried locally here.
Bigjohnwoody
I've used Rod's since I started the hobby. Fish have always went crazy. It's not cheap, but it's worth the price tag IMO
Emerald525
It does work well. It was difficult to find in some of the stores. Nick at Rosecity used to carry it and Premium aquarium carries it. I used it and find it very helpful when acclimating new fish who are to shy to eat.
beardedsmurf
All for Fish in Albany carries it, too. I've had good success with it, but then again my fish will eat anything (thankfully!)
reefnjunkie
Saltwater Fantaseas also carries and no i dont work for them. I USED to use it as well, for the price of 2-3 packs I now make my own with nearly all the same ingredients, difference being when I am done making it, other than the wife reminding how 'pleasant' half the house smells (wife) I end up with about 20-25 packs of food of the same volume vs 2-3. Rods is awesome (rock2) if you dont want to (nono) mess with the mess DOH! ( or have a food processor)
badxgillen
Rods is like a treat in my tanks.A buffet opposed to the usual pellets and frozen foods for the fish and corals.
beardedsmurf
I now make my own with nearly all the same ingredients' date=' [/quote'] Can you PM me the ingredients and amounts? I'd be interested in making some bulk food for my tank. It's gonna be nice outside this week - perfect for food processing OUTDOORS!
Kasasah
could I get that recipe from you junkie? I do my own and even my diamond watchman goby loves it. But looking for a new recipe. Thanks, Kori Sent from Samsung Galaxy SII

reefnjunkie
I'll post something up in the DIY section of the forum
Dtech07
I make my own also and took some to Frank and a few other folks up here and it's a recipe from the forum also. Plus I know what goes in EXACTLY and freeze a years worth from on batch for $30 plus give out several packs to others. Home made is the safest way IMHO. Bigjohnwoody
I have never made my own and being how much my wife detests the smell of sea food I don't think I ever will. I'm buying 2 pounds of the frozen food that Jody makes. (Reefboy and owner of TECO). I've always used Rod's, but it's spendy and I know Jody makes a very quality product. I'm excited to try it out
