don_chuwish
Of course when I bought this (and 4 other little treats) I was told the name and thought I'd remember. But now it escapes me. Apparently not an Acan. "Myss-something" or other sound right?
SteveHash-fish20
That's a red blasto

don_chuwish
Wow, talk about a quick answer - check those time stamps! Thanks so much guys. So looking at pics & info about blastomussa this one must be the smaller 'merleti' variety. That whole frag in the picture is about 1.5". Thanks again! - D
Emerald525
You're welcome. Yes it looks like probably a merleti. I find they like medium light and flow similar to acans. Sent from my BlackBerry 9630 using Tapatalk
don_chuwish
Great, thanks! That's what it's getting right now. I'm transitioning to 250W MH at the moment so taking it slow & careful.
Blue Z Reef
I'd keep it in low to medium light, they really don't like high light. I put mine too high and it started dying back, then moved it to a lower slightly shaded area and it's doing great. Good luck with that one, looks really nice! Cos is funny, he probably started talking gangster saying "dats a mussa" or something, he cracks me up lol!
don_chuwish
Thanks again, yeah he's a great help. We grabbed as many as we thought we could handle from a 'sale' tank he had to empty cuz it was cracked. Can't remember if this was one of'em or not. But after cashing in a punch card we had 5 new pretties for $30.
badxgillen
I have snagged some pretty nice corals at good prices at Ocean In A Box as well. Those blastos are a nice score, you said you found a few others?
