cellowithgills
I'm pretty sure that it's some sort of pavona.
nelsz3
It sounds like turbinaria or cup coral http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/prod_display.cfm?c=597+322+521&pcatid=

badxgillen
are the feelers short and thin looking much like a green field?it is most likely pavona.dont forget if it is it can do some stinging.
rgrcrain
Kinda looks like a Hydnophora to me. Spelling may be wrong. I think they have a pretty powerful sting to other corals.
ClayTheSavageFraser
Might be a chalice too. We need way better pics to assess this!!

The "eyes" on it are flat, they aren't raised like with turbinaria.
ClayTheSavageFraser
Looks like a Mint and Cream Chalice to me! I am going to have to have a frag to be sure! LOL!!!

Islandoftiki
It's hard to tell from the picture, but I'll be happy to name it for you. I'll name it Sam.
tif
This looks like my Pavona sp., also known as leaf coral, lettuce coral, frilly coral, potato chip coral and/or cabbage coral. Here's a link with pictures: http://animal-world.com/Aquarium-Coral-Reefs/Leaf-Coral

I've got this crazy electric baby blue/purple cupping chalice in my tank that eats Hydrophora for lunch! And unfortunately almost everything else, but it's so kool! talkalot82
Psammacora. I'm almost certain that is what it is... I found a picture that looked just like it... but it could be a pravona.. they look so close.. but the feelers look shorter than the normal desciption of the pravona and more like the other.... so I guess I shall see.. they say they are often confused... but I do know they are both agressive...
