J & Jr Posted February 15, 2007 Share Posted February 15, 2007 I always felt bad about how sharks were fished mostly for there finns a lot of the meat was just thrown back and wasted because you could make so much more money just keeping the fins. I was a commercial fisherman in Alaska for about 9 years and went to the fish markets in Japan many times and it was amasing how many fins were for sale compared to the body or meat of the shark.
