fpd4308
So the clown tang I got earlier this week went missing today. Usually he comes Out shortly after the lights go on but today I did not see him all day. I did not see any signs of his death either so hopefully he will come out tomorrow. I know the first couple weeks is the crucial time for these guys so I guess I will see.

lewisriverfisherman
Do you have nassarius snails in your tank. They can eat a fish over night with nothing left in the morning. I lost a copper banded butterfly this way.
Trautman
last night i was FREAKING out about my beloved wrasse and i couldnt find it. I assumed my anemone ate it (like your story(sad)) i waited until the next day, and he was alright, must have just been tucked away. so have hope! fpd4308
Okay it is day 2 with no sighting. I am thinking he is dead and eaten and yes I do have nassarius snails so he may just be a skeleton. :(
fpd4308
I am pretty disappointed. He was a nice fish and I was checking all the boxes on his acclimation.

Harold B
How big is your tank? Is there any possibility that it could be just tucked up under a rock somewhere? Have you checked at night? I'll keep my fingers crossed i've been through similar experiences. Thanks Harold
