  1. I haven't posted in a while so I figured I would post an update on the tank. Its filled out a little bit. The view from my chair. Full tank.
  2. Now that I have my cube set up I am selling my 40b, stand, HOB overflow, HOB skimmer, lifeguard return pump, and some rock. $300 for everything. I want to sell this as one lot. The only thing missing for this system is lights and powerheads. 40b with stand and 10 gallon tank I used for sump $100 HOB ReefOctopus clasic 100 skimmer $100 HOB KollerCraft TOM RP3 Overflow Box $50 Lifegard Aquatics ARP440103 Quiet One 3000 Pump 780 Gph $30 20 LBS of rock in 5 gallon bucket $60
  3. Yea everything went good. Even talked my wife into letting me get new sand. She just wanted to be the one to pick it. I think she chose well.
  4. Well I got the stand and hood complete. Me and my wife did the transfer from my 40b today and she did a amazing job stacking the rocks for me. It was hard since most of them have coral on them already. The hood and stand dont match very well but its what I get for building this out of wood laying around my shop. The only things I had to buy for this were screws and sand paper. Here is it after I got he plumbing done. After we were done. Still cloudy here. Clearing up And some of the stuff that I have in it. And here is what it looks like from my chair.
  5. This is my first tank stand so I wanted to be sure lol. And my wife was nervous about it being strong enough. So I just went for broke lol.
  6. Got a 27 gallon cube and a sump from tenderfoot yesterday (thanks for the good deal). Here is what I have got done today. Then I started on the stand. I forgot to take pictures most of the time but here is when the stand is framed. I had allot of 2x6's laying around so I used them. And here it is skinned sanded and stained. I left some of the primer that was on the boards I used to skin it (more left overs laying around) so that it would have this look after staining. Tommorow I am hoping to get the hood built and finish cleaning out the tank, sump, and equipment.
  7. Change of plans looking for a 20ish gallon to a 30ish gallon cube now. Black trim or rimless. I would like it to be drilled or RR but not completely necessary. Thanks.
  8. I do like 20 longs but Sheridan Oregon is a long drive.
  9. between 20 and 30 would fit the space I have the best. But it depends on the tank.
  10. I am looking for a tank no more then 30" long. It can be shorter if it is a cube. I want something smaller that will fit in my living room better. If you have a stand to go with it I am interested in that as well. I could do a partial trade with: Dont know anything about it other then what the sticker on the pump says.
  11. Are you willing to separate anything?
  12. Moved some things around so they look better. And some new things for Ocean in a Box today.
  13. I love 40b's that what I have as well. Looking good.
  14. Looking good. I like smaller tanks.
  15. It took it about a week to find it once I put the nem in the tank but now it wont leave it for very long. It is ether in it or by its foot.
  16. Thank you I like that piece too.
  17. Here are some new pics. I added a HOB overflow and a 10 gallon sump so I can run a filter sock. I still need to get a little light, rock, microalgae for the sump.
