That is amazing!!! I love the rock' date=' Looks like you have some really nice larger pieces :-)[/quote']

looks really good' date=' did you go with the BRS rock?[/quote']

Thanks Gill! Yes some very large pieces, sadly I had to take a hammer to a couple of them to knock of some pieces to get it to fit in the tank.

Smann.... Yes we got about 100 lbs of the pukani rock when it was on sale a while back, have had it curing in a 100 gal rubbermaid tub in out bath tub!! LOL There is 2 pieces on the right that was from our other tank, one from Tim and the other from Isaac, you can see they still have a lot of purple coraline algea on them!

Stocked in a month.... hmmmm someone mentioned something about cycling the tank......(scratch) I never have, so I thought I would give it a try this time!! LOL Don't think I will have it full of sps by the end of 1 month... But I am sure I will a fish or two in there!

Wow, bueatiful fish ladies! I see you went through with the flame hawk! Love those little guys. That wrasse is gorgeous! I have always been facinated with the peacock mantis so let me know how it goes. From what I understood they will decimate a clean up crew and can inflict a nasty wound so be careful while cleaning. :)

LOL, don't plan on putting my hand in with the mantis! It is secluded to the area in our sump that was going to be the refugium! So only the hermits and snails I toss to him will get eaten!!

Yeah he's in the refugium of the sump. I was tempted to post on reef central how I had him in the main tank LOL! Yeah Patrick Beth has wanted a flame hawk but seeing it in your tank made her have to have one now! Could not pass on the good deal!

you should put a pip fish in your tank i have two and they are doing great! and its sweet watching them hunt for food in the live rock lol.

I think pipefish are cool Colton but Beth can't stand them LOL! She thinks they look too much like snakes... I'm still amazed I was able to talk her into the snowflake eel. She doesn't like him at all.

Yea that was a sweet looking little hawk fish. Glad you like him, hopefully he doesn't turn into a little turd.(fingers) I have a mantis in my sump as well, i stick my hand in all the time and clean his little area. They aren't as aggressive as they would seem in my experience.

Well so far the hawfish hasn't been interested in the hermits and snails and I would agree the Mantis shrimp is not agressive and tries to get away if you put your hand in the tank but the hermit crab would disagree!

I have had two flamehawks. They both had to find new homes.as cool as they are, they should be in a FOWLR tank...but, maybe cyber bully's will have better luck changing their DNA ;)

Love love love that wrasse. Gorgeous.

Maybe we can battle our inverts in the future beth...my pistol vs ur peacock. Sounds like a low budget porn.
