madmike
Does anyone know of any freshwater fish stores that sell live blackworms in the portland/vancouver area? I have ordered them a couple of times but you have to order large quantities and a lot end up going bad so I would like to source them locally and know that freshwater folks like to use them. Thanks

madmike
yes, the blackworms cant be frozen so are unfortunately not available unless live and even then they need to be rinsed daily. kind of a pain but they are unbelievably high in fats and oils and picky fish seem to really love them
Electrokate
Wet spot or world of wet pets but you might want to call first in case they are out. I keep them in a 4 x 12 bag with minimal water and the bag as full of air as possible, and rinse every couple days when I feed them to the fish. They have lasted weeks this way. Of course they are in the fridge which some people think is “weird" or even "gross". Whatever... (:
