Trailermann
I cannot tell is these white areas are a discoloration of the coral or somelayer over the coral. Note that the white areas appear somewhat blue in these photos. Could it be too much light?
Oregonic
I have the same issue with jack o lantern. Tried a frag a few years ago turned white like that quickly. Got another frag a few months ago and it has patches of white like that again, not as bad as the first one. I have moved it from low-med light to directly under a plating monti in basically no light and has not recovered at all. Im convinced it just doesn’t like my tank. Lazyreefer
Definitely could be too much light. Also just overall health from too much nutrients or something can cause it to die off like this slowly so check your parameters and maybe try a little lower lighting👍🏻
Gumby
How long have you had the frag? Have you moved lately? Could also be parameter swings high nutrient levels. Usually once it settles in it will grow like weed.
Trailermann
ENcouraging feedback. I will lower the frags and watch the nutrients carefully. So far, my testing has shown zero and zero.
