  1. Howdy, I sold this a while ago. Thought I should post that it has been sold. Dave
  2. I have a bakpak protein skimmer with box for sale. I used this successfully on a 20 gallon tank. It has the original rio pump and the overflow box. I would probably replace the pump, I don't know if it still works. $25 OBO
  3. I'm pretty sure it is CaribSea. The pieces are about 4-5 mm in diameter. I used it on my aquarium with very good results. It is very clean and has been sealed since new. Dave

  5. Those are SOOO cool! I wish I had a tank going - these are exactly the type of fish I a would like. Good luck on the sale.
  6. Thanks ReefBox! Looking forward to meeting you.
  7. Question to this group. I have these T12-VHO's and IceCap Ballasts for sale. Are these of any interest to this group or are they too out of date? Please advise. Dave
  8. Sold RO-DI Thank you! Still have Brute Garbage Can. Dave
  9. I have 32 gallon, food grade, mixing plastic can. I would like to have $15 for the mixing can (OBO).
  10. I have five - 5 gallon buckets. I'd like to give them to the people who buy stuff from me, but if you really need one, give me a jingle and you can come over and get one (two, three...). I have 4 lids for them. One of them has my old siphon which I used to clean the sand and for water changes.
  11. I have a NIB Pin Point Ph Monitor and a used Pin Point Ph Monitor. I bought these probably 12 years ago. I never used one of the monitors and the probe is new. The used one was put away properly in a Ph7 fluid. I don't know if either probe is still good. I would like to get $12 for the two (OBO).
  12. I have 8 very good shape T12 German endcaps with clips that allow easy attachment. If you use T12 fluorescents over your tank, you really should have the sealed caps both for reliability of starting and for safety. You really need to get these if you are looking at my IceCap ballasts, the VHO bulbs and the VHO light hood! I'd like to get $25 (OBO) for the lot.
  13. I have a 2' VHO (75 W bulbs) aquarium hood that I built for use over a 20 gallon reef tank. This is an excellent light for these tanks for it puts out a very uniform, linear light source which lights the tank well with little light spill to the room. I have an IceCap 660 ballast driving the bulbs. The IceCap ballast is an excellent electronic ballast that can save significant electricity but operates the bulbs at a much higher light output. I also have the water tight "German" caps which keeps this a very reliable light. I believe that the bulbs haven't have very much use. With the IceCap ballast, URI bulbs last 2X as long as with other ballasts. I did make the light but I used very good components. The reflector has the PVD coating on it that reflects almost the entire spectra from the bulbs. The URI bulbs I have for sale and the extra IceCap ballast would be an excellent combination for a SPS/LPS 20 gallon ish nano tank. I have excellent results with my coral growth. The value of this hood is primarily in the ballast. https://www.coralvue.com/icecap-660-vho-ballast-120vac-60hz I'd like to get $70 (OBO).
  14. I have 26 lbs of new calcium reactor media. It's about 6 mm diameter particles and has been stored in a sealed 5 gallon bucket. I used this media with great success when growing LPS and SPS in my 100 gallon aquarium. This stuff is pretty expensive now. I'd like to get $52 OBO. This is basically less than 1/2 the price I can find on the web.
  15. I'm in Portland - on Skyline Drive about 1/2 the way between German Town and Cornelius Pass Road. Let's discuss location in a PM. Thanks! Dave
  16. I have a NIB IceCap 430 ballast with new wiring harness. This is an excellent VHO/PC fluorescent ballast. This is an electronic ballast which is perfectly quiet and operates the tubes at a much higher frequency which is tuned for optimal fluorescence (light output) and longest life. The manufacturer says that the ballast uses 40% less power and provides 40% higher illumination from the tubes. https://www.coralvue.com/icecap-430-vho-ballast-120vac-60hz This would be ideal for the bulbs and the 2' hood I'm selling or if you are using fluorescents on your aquarium. These are $140 new. I'm willing to sell mine for $60 (OBO). This is a really good ballast!
  17. I have 33 lbs of fine aragonite play sand for sale. The sand is clean, new, and has been stored in a sealed 5 gallon bucket. I used this for the bottom sand on your aquarium. It is just the perfect size grain. $10 OBO
  18. I have one NEW and one very, very slightly used Ebo jager 250W heaters for sale. These are very reliable heaters. Not much more to say than they are heaters, one NIB, one basically new, and a great price. I'd like to get $30 for both (OBO).
  19. I have a BackPak Skimmer with overflow and Rio 600 pump for sale. This is a great skimmer for a 20 gallon reef tank or potentially a little larger if you have a fish only tank. I cannot promise that the Rio works, but I preferred the MaxiJet power heads to the Rio's. The skimmer has been cleaned and was stored in it's original packaging. The only thing wrong with is is that the O ring broke (this is a standard rubber O ring that can be found at multiple auto parts or hardware stores). I'd like to get $30 for Skimmer, pump, and overflow.
  20. I used two of these over a 20 gallon aquarium an have wonderful results growing LPS, SPS, and soft corals. I have 5 brand new URI-75W VHO bulbs - two actinic blue and 3 10K bulbs. These are clean and stored in the triangle packaging I am selling the hood in another thread with very low hour bulbs and an IceCap ballast. The beauty about VHO's is that they provide a linear, uniform light for the longer, narrower tanks (like a 20 long). You don't have so much light spill over into the rest of the room. I'd like to get $30 for the lot (OBO).
