  1. Sorry you feel this way.  I have met two people.here in person and they have been awesome!  Several others have been kind and offered help and an ear when needed.  I still personally text one member and he always offers good advice and nice priced frags.  I do agree with you about @CuttleFishandCoral. I went there for the fist time last weekend.  Very cool place and the best customer service.

  2. I have used one before,  but not for this light.  I didn't like the output and no longer use one.  I also run 2 vipraspectras on a 90 gallon.  I removed the lenses and run them at 80% blues 1% white.  Whites only on for 3 hours.   Very happy with spread without lenses.   Apparently you can buy better 90° and 120° lenses for them, but I have not.

I keep softies,  LPS, some sps.

  3. I do weekly water changes at the moment so no need to dose this tank.  I don't spot feed, just benepets three times a week as broadcast feeding.  It's the only lps/euphyllia in the tank the rest is zoas, Leathers

  4. I have had one of these coral for almost 2 years now and it has not grown or split.  Does anyone have experience with these that can give some advice for growth?  Everything else is doing well in the tank. I keep it in a 20gal nano

  5. Nitrate is 6, phosphate is .06

I just can't figure it out.  Lights only on 6 hours a day.  No direct sunlight.  I just did a 50% water change yesterday    I figure that will either help it or make it worse.

I did end up scrubbing both salt and r/o holding containers too

  6. Is it possible to have bacteria grow in ro containers?  I only use a Rubbermaid container and nothing else goes in other than ro water I make.  I swear however, no matter how little I feed and how many water changes I do, I seem to get fast alge growth

  7. I'm keeping everything on, just have fans in sump area and blowing over the top.  Evaporation is a bit higher, but water temp is staying ok. No air conditioner here either.

I've tried the ice in bag or, frozen water bottle. Melts too fast to keep up for me

  8. Yeah, it holds it.  I wanted a longer low tank, but I think I would go with a 40, breeder or something larger.  I left enough room to bring return pipes up if I need to.  Plenty of flow for two tanks.

  9. So.  A while back my wife wanted a two  setups.  Not sure if it's gonna be reef and seahorse or reef and fish only.  This is the first time I've tried this.

I have managed to build two stands to fit her vision. She now has a 40 and a 30 gal tied into a 20 gal sump I built.  I need some practice but seems to be balanced well.

Go easy on me with feedback.  The 40 has a drilled overflow. The 30 was an established system with a diy overflow so I kept that to save money.
