  1. Oh happy joy joy. Looks like I might be okay after all. 2 baby polyps showing up. So I went from 5 to 7 down to 5 and back to 7 again. Go go go! Lol.
  2. I might be screwed. Down to 4 by the looks of it. One likes like it's been munched on and others are missing. I have a sneaking hunch it'san emerald crab I added recently. Corals have been knocked over as well as taken off their plugs.
  3. Yep. Between the 13th and 27th. I'm trying to hold out as much as possible because I think I see new growth. Lol.
  4. Anyone else noticing an issue with these polyps not wanting to attach to the plug? Mine seems to be growing and expanding but isn't attaching that new growth to the plug at all. Only the original but of it is attached.
  5. Thanks! I'm using my Samsung Galaxy S8 in pro mode. Turning the white balance all the way up helps get rid of the blue wash from the lights. Manual focus helps too so it doesn't focus on anything you don't want. lol
  6. Definitely! I've gotten quite a few great frags from them. They are also willing to frag stuff from their main displays if things are doing well which they have been.
  7. I've got no objections to last minute contestants. I'm not expecting to win since I'm not a zoa pro. lol. I'm mostly looking forward to the comparison between the wide variety of set ups and see how each one grows zoa frags.
  8. Maybe I just need to change the aquascape......again. Again. lol.
  9. I have a 90 but I sometimes wish I had just stuck with a 75 or gotten something that's a bit deeper from front to back. 90 has the same footprint as the 75, just a little deeper. Means you have to get more rock to get higher so your coral that need more intense lighting can get what they need but yet the 48x18 footprint doesn't allow for much sandbed room to get creative with the rock. Either that or I just get the wrong kind of rock or the wrong size. Here's a couple pics to show the difference between my old 75 and my newly set up 90. I still don't feel like there's enough rock in the 90.
  10. There's actually a great new store that opened up in the same area that Ocean in a Box used to be in. It's called Neptune's Corals. Check them out. It's just a small place currently but they are looking to expand once they get business going strong. They currently have 4 50gallon breeder tanks set up for coral frags and colonies along with some newly set up fish holding tanks. Tons of coral in their frag tanks everywhere from $5 frags and up. They will also even frag stuff on the spot depending on what it is. They will also order specific things if you are looking for something they might not have.
  11. I reacted with a laugh, then I read the next comment about yours possibly being done...How am I supposed to react? lol. I'm so confused.
  12. I would like to see supplements such as the Red Sea Coral Package with trace colors, reef energy, calc, mag, and alk. NoPoX

Frag: 5 polyps opened. Possible 6th but it has not yet opened and seems like a dud. frag will be kept front left corner of the tank near sandbed. Checked in picture
  14. Is there going to be a specific thread we need to make our post under or do we create our own?
  15. Ah bummer! Is there any way to buy in at the meeting? I don't get paid until the 13th.
