Had a light and rocks in my sump so it was sort of like the display...... 

I’d have to catch him to do that lol. I do have a refugium in the sump and there is aiptasia there too 

i guess I'll have to starve the entire tank lol

I added a filefish two weeks ago. So far I know it likes frozen mysis and nori from the clip. He may be responsible for four dead heads of gold torch too. But he hasn’t touched a single aiptasia…is that normal? Had so much hope for him cause nothing else has worked (peppermint, nudibranch, F aiptasia, copperband) 

I watched all of his videos on YouTube. He had such a passion for the hobby. RIP

Depends where you are and where you want to be. 50% water change only lowers your nitrate by 50%. If you are at 100 and you want 10. It’s goes like this 

100, 50, 25, 12.5, 6.25 

Less import + More export. The only ways to export are water change, macroalgae consumption, bacterial consumption and coral consumption

Lots of people have reached out for when my Colorado sunburst anemone split. Well unfortunately it just split in half. That means all I have to offer right now is a huge anemone. Foot is 4-5” in diameter. It’s so big it’s now living in the sump.
