    Torch coral dying?

    Phosphate could be the problem.

    I'd also take a close look and make sure you don't have flat worms. Torches sometimes come with eggs that hatch and the flat worms hug right up against the rim of the skeleton.

    I would try no to change anything rapidly--your parameters are not too far off.

    Consider more water changes until the nitrates come down. In the meantime, I would consider sending of an ICP test to see if there is something strange like heavy metal buildup. What is your water source? RO/DI?

    I can frag a piece of branching cyphastrea for you Bert and the wild zoa's sound interesting. I've got lots of rastas too and I will have some with me.

    I've got lots of purple milka stylo if anyone wants some.

    I'm going to bring a mix of things to trade or sell pretty reasonable tomorrow too.

    I've got a bunch of zoa's (rastas, water melon, bam bam, blue eyed blondies, WWC purple monster), some SPS (JF birds nest, ORA spongeodes, tubbs stellata, blue Digi, to Forest fire Digi, purple valida acro, WWC yellow tips, Idaho grape Monti, orange Monti cap, milka Stylo, blue stag), and a little LPS (trumpet, green hammer).

    It turns out I let this thread lose steam well over a year ago...so I figured I should post some pictures.

    The pictures are my best so far, but I've clearly got a lot to learn about photography before you see what it looks like in person.

    I'm very happy with the tank at this point and the SPS is growing nicely. I'm starting to have some serious Coral warfare and needing to figure out what stays and what goes in the near future. Good problems to have.
