This hobby is a love/hate thing. I love my corals and fish but hate it when things go bad despite my efforts to care for all my little creatures. I've had a LOT of challenges since setting up my 120 last fall. Love all the room it has for larger fish and the look of its massiveness my living room, but hate giant water changes and massive top offs. My RODI is in the basement so it's a production. But then again, I Love it when people come over and are captivated. I also have a 20 IM in my office and it's such a breeze (thankfully) and makes me wish I had gone with something smaller in the living room. I can't believe I just said that... With work so busy now I am feeling like I'm chasing my tail. Hopefully my attitude will improve. I remember loving this hobby. Can't really share this with the family because they just look at me like "well you're the one who did it to yourself" [emoji58] Anyone else go thru this? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So about Medic... My order was lost in the mail so my tank had 8 days to grow ich. I have been using Medic daily but the problem is persisting. I would say that it's working to a point. Fish aren't dying but the still have ich. I've heard this isn't great if you're in a crisis, rather if you have a new outbreak. I've also heard that it's useful to use every few months to control ich population (assuming most of us have some exposure). I think that makes sense. I'm pulling fish now to run them in copper.
