  1. It was a great meeting. Pics won't do it justice, should been there it was lots of fun (drinking) and so much great info.
  2. Well it's up running with no leaks at all not even a little drip from the bulkheads. (clap) I got the rock in and there is a few crabs and snails that hitchhiked in on the rock. Sand tomorrow and possibly fish. The rock work is not what it use to be, had to brake some of it to get it out so I will work on it more but hey it's running again I'm happy.
  3. That would be cool but I had to send it back to marineland all the water damage and pics where not enought to convince them it leaked so they wanted it.
  4. Well so far so good it was holding strong when I left to work.(clap) but then again it's only has 50 gallons in it!!
  5. Got it that paint finished first time I have used plasti dip and so far I like it covers glass well only took 2 cans to cover to sides it took 4 cans of rust oleum last time. My wife came home just after it was finished with the painting. She was with 4 of her Friends so I convince them to help me move the tank inside. It took some fast talking and some slightly misleading tank weights lol (rock2) But all and all not to bad. I pick up the tank today at 2pm and it's filling with salt water at 8:30pm
  6. Well it's funny I was thinking about doing a build thread of my tank the couple days right before it crashed so now on my new tank I guess I can start A build thread as I go this time. In the process of plasty diping the sides and back of the tank
  7. Love that shot of the grouper!!!
  8. I tried that a few years ago it works great for about a week lol the fish just dig to much to let the plants get a good hold in the substrat plus most chichlid will nip at the plants slowly eating them till they just die. I can work just have to keep buying new plants. Dwarf is your best bet.
  9. Most tanks we keep have a big enough foot print that the weight is not a problem I had 450g of water in 8'x2' of space in a Mobile home and it had less presher per square foot the if all my family came over for Christmas and stood in the corner yes are tanks are heavy but they are also large enought that the floors can handle it
  10. [language filter] I got my hope up for nothing.
  11. BABY I want this for Christmas wait wait wait i NEED this for Christmas (AI prime)(naughty)(clap)(drooler)

  14. Yeah and that was the first thing they said but the have change that plus there is a law saying you can't void a warranty on something cuz you didn't purchase another one of there products.
  15. Yeah and the stand has nothing to do with the seam blowing if it was the stand it would of collapsed when I filled it and it never settled funny cuz I put a 4'leveal on it as it was leaking and it was perfectly level in all directions.
  16. Ok so marine land is given me problems saying my stand is not strong enough its 2x6 on the top with 3 2x4 in each corner and 1/2 ply on the top and three sides can anyone give me som info on what this could possibly hold thanks
