Ok so my Duncan coral fell off the puck it was on. And glued it on to a new one. But now they are closed up, looking all sick. I noticed I got some glue on their stalk. Is this the reason for them closing up. Everything parameters wise is good, except my phosphates. So I've been doing 3 gal water changes every 2 days. Suggestions guys

Yeah its been going for about a weak, and in order to get any bubbles which don't foam, is to open my air line all the way. I let it sit for about 3 days like the instructions said, but still no good foam action

Ok so my wife bought me this skimmer. She thought it would be perfect since she knew I was having a hard time deciding on a new skimmer. So I'm using it. One thing I notice is it doesn't produce any foam action, any suggestions on how to mod this thing to perform better. And I'd return it except she already had it in my actual display, so couldn't return it.
SUGGESTIONS PLEASE!

Lol funny joke..... I think I'm going to give it a shot. Everything has to be given a shot to see if it works. I'll let ya know and post findings. Although I agree that its seems to good to be true. But sometimes they are really good. And it seems close to a uv sterilizer, except uv kills bad and good bacteria. This claims to get rid of the bad and promote more good bacteria. So ill probably test my water before I put it in. Then after its been in for a full day. I'll test again. And so on. ? Should I take my skimmer out to test this or play it safe to have back up.support

They say it out beats most expensive skimmers. Anyone's thoughts or experiences

Ok so I want to upgrade the return pumps for my hqi 28gal jbj. I was told not to waste my time sumping my tank because it would be difficult to do. And with out help it would take a day to do everything. So does anyone have any idea of what I could upgrade the pumps to?

Looking to buy some variable pieces of live rock, from like half a football size down. About 20#'s. I'm also looking to buy a pump that can handle sending water through 1" tubing, about 5' long. My tank is 28 gal. I'm looking to make the current from the return at least 35 times the flow rate. So I'm guessing 800gph - 1050 gph

Yeah you can do that. There is a video on YouTube with a guy making a diy sump. He use wd-40 and a basic glass cutter. But when he breaks the glass apart he puts a pen or dowel under the cut, to break it cleaner
