  1. I don't mean to hijack the thread. But figured I'd state and ask. And it would help. I have been over feeding lately. And now have some red cyno. I will take process photos of a multiple attack system on it. And post pics. Because I can't afford a good gfo any ideas on what I can do HTC EVO
  2. This is my new torch. 10 bucks not bad I don't think And added some cured rock, trying to make it a bit more of an interesting looking nano tank HTC EVO
  3. Yeah I love my maroon, but it is the meanest fish I can't even stick my hand in to feed my coral on the opposite side of the tank without it charging my hand and biting all over. Said to say that I'm getting rid of it. I want more then one fish I'm my tank. I have heard that You can keep it in a 29 as long as you have lots of hiding places for the other fish. Or the nem is placed somewhere or plants itself somewhere it won't really see other fish HTC EVO
  4. can you have a torch, and a RBTA in the same tank together? HTC EVO
  5. And for that price your tell me that just one unit over let's say my jbj nano cube will do just as good if not better, than a 12 to 24 set of led, from rapid or aqua style HTC EVO
  6. Ok so what are they priced. Couldn't find it on their web page HTC EVO
  7. cutting edge? you can't dim it does that leave risk to.burning your coral? HTC EVO
  8. Ok so which one lol http://www.rapidled.com/24-ultra-premium-led-diy-kit-with-dimmable-drivers/ http://www.rapidled.com/jbj-nanocube-28-hqi-dimmable-retrofit-kit/ HTC EVO
  9. I'm retarded lol, just saw you reply on your thread man. HTC EVO
  10. @garett- totally have him post pics man. @noobtosalt- that would be awesome man. I have weekends off, I'd like to check out someone else nano tank. Let me know what's up HTC EVO
  11. Ok so I've been researching retrofit kits, and diy kits for my jbj 28 gallon hqi. But I haven't really been able to find a how-to install in my hood. Anyone got websites, or ideas HTC EVO
  12. Your tank looks awesome man. Mines pretty empty, but I see your rock setup, and I'm thinking when I move I'm going to do the same. I was reading through, and may have missed it but, where'd you get your led setup HTC EVO
  13. Here's an update pic of my RBTA's HTC EVO
  14. You said black algae? Usually with one type of algae there are others, try doing a good look around, analysis everything nook & cranny. Research, what they are. And solutions to them. Chances are you need to do deep cleans every where, and water changes more frequently, natural dilution through water changes is always best. Once you start using things to get rid of your original problem, you create a mask for other issues that can arise. I have heard good things about vodka, and vinegar dosin, but all my friends, And uncle say its not something you want to continue for long lengths of time. You in reality want to find the main reason for the high Phosphate. And doing multiple things at once doesn't give you Good answers cause you can never tell which one thing you did solved the issue. But that's my own knowledge, and experience. I have battled almost every kind of bad algae possible. HTC EVO
  15. Thanks man that was good info. HTC EVO
  16. Ok so I glued my Duncan coral to a rock that my LFS said should work. Basically its like cured cement? But what the did was fill the tips of baby nipples, and glue the frags to them. So I did that, and I'm noticing that it doesn't really support my Duncan coral very well. It starts to tilt, And with it sprouting new heads I'm worried it won't support it for much longer, I have it super glued (not normal super glue) like water resistant, to the nipple now, but how do I get it off? And would a puck work better. My sand bed is only like 1.5 to 2 inches deep. Thanks guys HTC EVO
  17. Ok I have no idea why this sponge is doing this. Never seen it before. Any ideas guys HTC EVO
  18. Ok so I'm outside smoking a ciggy, When I come in I notice all these clearish white things being thrown around in my tank. I'm like ..... Upon further viewing I notice these things have legs and look like baby shrimp. I Just got this peppermint shrimp 3 days ago. And now this lol.... First its the nem split. Then my Duncan closed, and open to be sprouting new heads, now this shrimp is giving birth. Is a sign my tank is doing really good, or everythings last ditch effort. HTC EVO
  19. Yeah I started the water bottles today. I have my lights coming on at night when its cooler, seems to help a bit still looking for a little clip on fan to attach to the tank so I can direct it towards the halids. It's a nano so it doesn't take long for it to heat up. Any other ideas, can't really afford a chiller HTC EVO
  20. If you can notice the little bludge under the top head. Is that a new head forming HTC EVO
  21. peligro

    RBTA Question

How can you tell if its going to split HTC EVO
  22. Ok after math of the split. Silly clown keeps trying to suffocate them both with his love. HTC EVO
  23. They opened up today , but now I notice one bump under two out of the three heads, does that mean its going to sprout more heads:confused: HTC EVO
  24. Ok so another ? I have a maroon clown and he's very aggressive like affection wise towards the nem. Is it safe to have the clown in there with the littler nem? HTC EVO
  25. Is this normal, what can I do to ensure it lives, and the splitting looks really bad for it. Any help would do. HTC EVO
