WOW i just read this thread for the first time and am truely amazed at how generous of a group of people on this site there is this truely warms my heart knowing that everyone is willing to help like this and so generously i truly wish that i had my tank set up with corals to send but sadly its still half full with water truely amazing people

my first thought was a fight or ran into something since its only on one side that would make sense but it would be good to know if it started smaller and got bigger or if that is how it originated i dont think that hlle would be spread that fast but im no expert hope all is well he/she is a beautiful fish

ah thats sad i love coral banded shrimp my guess is incomplete molt or the crab attacked it during the molting process ive had that happen before how big is the crab

thanks my tank is a 75 flat back hexagonal its 25in tall so i need penetration wanting a fairly blue look but not deep blue if that makes sense im mainly planning on lps but probably will have a few sps with the phoenix 14k would you suggest having supplemental lighting or is it enough thanks

yeah i plan to just was hoping to save some time and have them all in one thread really i dont have a lot of needs i want a pretty heavy loaded tank so i guess nitrates and phosphates will be my biggest battles im wanting ideas on ATO, unique sump and refugium ideas, and dosing ideas i cant right away afford the fancy equipment i spent my money on lighting and skimmer so the rest will have to wait so wanting cheap ideas on DIY and just some fun projects that have helped others aquariums i guess thats what i was hoping this thread would turn into thanks

Yeah another thread haha hopefully i can keep up with all of them but wanting to get all my questions out there before i forget. So im wondering how to make the best sump/refugium out of a 30gal tank. The last sump i made was a 45gal long and cant use that so trying to sell that pm me if interested ok back to topic and the 45 was good but i want better was wondering if the first section being dedicated to skimmer and filter sock then 3 baffles bubble trap (what would you reccomend for distance between baffles) and then put the return pumps next section then last separated by baffle a refugium now my main questions are can this work of course and is it going to be difficult to keep water levels steady in sump and should i use a glass baffle that completely separates the 2 and 3 sections or make the glass wall only tall enough to keep the sand bed in refugium in the 3 section and then use mesh or something to let the water flow freely with keeping the macro algaes in the 3 section also im thinking of making one of those algae scrubbers that santi monica is talking about in that newer thread if i do where should i put it in the 2 or 3 section ok thats more than enough sorry im bored and have too much on my mind thanks for all the help
