  1. Thank you for the input. This is the overflow I was thinking of. Do they leak easily? There is lots of space under the tank to access everything if there was a pipe going into the Sump and then the return would be more like what a canister filter has and would clip onto the glass inside the tank. Thoughts?
  2. I was hoping for some input regarding overflows. I’m asking for a friend of course because I promised the hubs never to go back to saltwater … . Let’s say someone was to build a 20x20x 9 shallow reef. Low maintenance lagoon style with maybe some green hairy mushrooms, a nem , GSP and mangroves growing out the top. What kind of filtration would be best if one wanted a sump. Is it better to drill and have an overflow or use an external overflow like the Eshopps one? Pic included to give a vague idea of what “friend” envisions. Thank you.
  3. Thank you Kim! I miss you folks and the fun time we had. 😊
  4. You are correct. It’s a huge deal for someone. I’m sad to sell but it freshwater didn’t do the tank justice and I can’t deal with making RODI water again.
  5. My very talented husband did. I was super picky about the stand because I hate seeing all the cords etc. I also wanted to be able to move it to get behind the tank so he mounted it on industrial weight casters. The ATO bucket slides out to fill. It’s super cool. He’s building me a new stand for my freshwater tank. 😊
  6. Thank you so much! It keeps things super neat so you don’t see any cords.
  7. Thank you. A lot of work went into the stand.

  11. Aah sweet! Thank you! Do you think I could use the light for freshwater? Only selling it because I want to buy a freshwater light but if it would work I’ll keep it.
  12. No worries. Hope you find one.
  13. I’m the original owner and I bought it a few years ago and then stored it.I don’t think it’s the mint led version. You are welcome to come and check it out though.
  14. I still have my Tunze comline 9004 available.
  15. No issues. Worked perfectly and only used <6 months. What do you mean by mint led’s?
