Price drop 3/22/18 - $100 takes it! <><> Price drop 3/15/18 come and get it for $150. <><> I have a 17' Alumacraft canoe that isn't getting much use. For sale for $200. I'd also be open to a trade involving a 4' reef ready glass aquarium. This boat is rated USCG for up to 785lbs in passengers - would be great to take a kid or three out on the water this spring. Canoe shows age from sitting upside down outside, but the aluminum is solid - no leaks, no structural damage. I can take pictures later tonight or tomorrow. Thanks. Nate

No kidding Sean. That reminds me... I have what I think is an ORA Blue Tort peeking out of a pocket in my rockwork that I don't recall putting there. I think there may have been a small frag mixed in with the digis I got from you. She'll probably camp right on top of it. If so - no worries.

Terry @Seahorse Aquarium may be able to get you one. He and I were discussing them some months ago. As to requirements - they aren't much more or less hardy than other shrimp. As to what they can live with... Any snails, crabs, or other shrimp are on the Mantis' menu. The one I had years ago was particularly fond of blue leg hermits. He never bothered any corals or fish as far as i could tell.

Howdy, I picked up a RBTA from Terry over at Seahorse on Sunday and drip acclimated "her" for 1-1/2 hours before introducing to the tank. That evening she moved into under a ledge to a very shady spot with low flow. For the last 48 hours she hasn't moved. Tonight I offered her a small (approx the size of one half of a peanut) piece of raw shrimp from New Seasons. She took it quickly and readily. I tried to err on the side of caution with the portion side... I don't want to feed more than she can handle or create any stress. I'm not planning to spot feed her again for a couple of days. if anyone has any commentary feel free to share... Too much / too little / too soon to feed? Pic below from when I first put in the tank, and a second one from just a moment ago (note I lightened the second pic to show a little more detail).

I had one as a hitchhiker on my first tank. I never saw him until I was selling off the rock. They are fascinating. You are brave for holding this one

I'm running in a 33 gallon (24x18x18) tank. Have this sitting mid-height in the back corner pointing diagonally up and across the tank.

Zoa rock viewed from the top. This is the one I had to dip in a hydrogen peroxide solution 2 weeks ago. It seems to be recovering nicely (and no signs of bubble algae so far).

Top view of some new growth. The Monti caps are growing slowly in spite of being partly shaded. My hope is they will soon be out far enough to gather a bit more light. I can't recall the name of the green piece which I got from @albertareef however all of those bright green nubs are new within the last week....

Updated with a few pics. I dug out an older olympus snorkeling camera for most of these. Top view of birdsnest. Interesting how it looks green/blue from above, and brown/red from the side.

I plucked the original piece from the 12/25 photo off that day, and sure enough another popped up yesterday. I decided to take the advice above and just finished a Hydrogen peroxide dip (1/4 OTC hydrogen peroxide 3% : 3/4 Freshly mixed saltwater) for 90 seconds and then rinsed with more saltwater and put back in the DT. The zoas are not happy but we'll see how they do - it's next best thing to try vs losing that whole rock/colony.
