Still hating on my grape juice huh Tom LOL (its getting better each week)
So I just realized I don't have to use photobucket on R2R to post pics so Im afraid this thread is dead it takes long enough to take the pics and then convert from RAW but photobucket was killing me -
if anyone here is there.... I'll reach out to the tech group, that would be a huge plus if it was able to be implemented here

Just get Cannon 5D mark III and ef 100mm f/2.8l macro is usm. Use JPG option with WB tuned, you don't need to use RAW and don't need to look back. My old Nikon took $hit work on PS to to barely match the real color. That Cannon, it's like bread and butter ( May be my D300 is too old for these blue thingy WB )

Get rid of that grapejuice reefnjunkie, put something else cooler in that spot like your WD :-)

Borrow my boss's camera to beat the WB demon that my old Nikon failed. Late night with rush/bad shots with some makeup on them. It will be a long time for me to do this again. It's fun to fine tune my system to try to max out their potential and be able to capture their beauties....but it's a paint in the butt with camera skills. Their colors are setback a little because heavy dose Bayer dip last Sunday with 2 more rounds to go the next two weeks so they won't be pretty no more soon. Enjoy these fires :-)

I could not get a good color from my old camera, so I asked Cuttle Fish (thanks Jeff) to help out. It's close but can't capture all its real color and the blue

My rock is that red :-). Yup, my rocks are covered with ugly red aglea and bunch of hair algeas :-).
The picture is still captured only 80% of color of the PEs as they are glowing neon green and cyan body.

Beer503 stopped by so we pulled out old camera to play around with. It's pretty tough to capture their real colors but it's pretty close there.

Very touchy read in that thread. It's a pretty cool idea to build using Sun dome with blue LED but Oregon is so mostly cloudy, especially the Fall.

Frag tank: DIY LEDs done by Bombertech-Matt a year ago
Display tank: 4 Hydra 52, 2 HydraHD and 2 Radion pro G3.
I started out with Ai Sol on my dominated SPS DT tank, and slowly upgraded as they are $$. AI's products are very reliable for last 2 years; unlike other brands, they died within a year or so from my tank at work. I like LEDs and I can get outstanding colors out of my acros. It's all about controlling P and N and place them at right intensity to get their max colors; and need strong flow and rich of O2 to get excel grow.
No additives ( all organic fish poops :-) ). I want to keep my tank simple and self sustaining. I run only Phosphate reactor (occasionally to control algea) and a very strong skimmer.
