Ya I think Ill stick with the 400w and see what happens. Im setting up a few tanks in my garage so its a little colder in there.... Jaclaninny, i already have a pendant but you can pm me a picture and the deal and you never know...

I was wondering if this was to much wattage for my 40B that Im building... I was planing on putting some T-8 too with the MH in the middle... What do you guys think should i use a lower wattage ballast?? I had this ballast and bulb combo from a Hydroponics setup i had, veggies not herbs (laugh)

thanks guys.. I picked up a cracked 40B tank that was drilled but cracked up top.. I have put in bulkhead and siliconed the crack and redrilled where the bulkheads go.. waiting to see if it holds up... Hey Bobkat let me know what your wanting to get for those thanks again as a noob ive learned a lot from this site.

well I took em over to Grassi and let me say he has a nice setup going on at his house... hopefully they will work out for him in what he's doing..
