Going out of the hobby: selling all my corals and equipment
kingtrident replied to grassi's topic in Classified Threads
Oh man at first I was like this sucks, then I thought hmm wonder what kind of fish and corals he has 0= -
+1 to that, got off work at 7 AM and wife wasn't put on call so had to stay home today. Was REALLY hoping she could be HC'd so we both could go. We want live updates 0=
-
I voted for a blue spot cuz I want one or 2 when the time comes. I've seen a yellow angler in action with clownfish, neat to see his lil baiter tossing around just waiting for a clown to come close enough.
-
This sucks, but it means my 145 Oceanic tank is rare now 0=
-
Everyday you should throw some "salt"water over your shoulder for luck... don't want to join this club the (wife) might take my tanks away should I ruin the hardwoods.
-
Welcome Tony! Should be fairly easy to find a bigger tank, I am still cycling my bigger tank now. Can't wait to see pics of yours. Good luck!
-
Wow beautiful tank and chalices. Purple haze should be playing in the background when you have the lights on.
-
Welcome! As everyone said, we want to see pics lol even if they are bad (and there have been some bad ones).
-
Does it ship to one place or to each address? Thanks btw, going to make a login either way.
-
Lol nice, love the snorkel they are using.
-
It's for a drain that came with the tank, Oceanic's logo is on the bulkhead.
-
Yeah 1 5/8'' PVC is the I.D. I'll try calling a few more places before 11, thanks Brad.
-
Where is the best place to buy a 1-5/8'' bulkhead? I struck out here in Chehalis, most places just have the standard sizes. Had the tank going for a bit and saw water at the base, bulkhead was cracked. Thanks!

Looks great Brad, nice to finally see one of your tanks going. You are Mr. wheel and deal it sounds like 0= It was nice meeting you at SWF when I got that sand from you.
-
That is a pretty clam, good luck. I was very surprised when I started reading about this hobby that clams have the most bright and beautiful colors to them. I was hoping the clam police was going to bust you when I saw this thread 0= (j/k).

Here is a crappy pic of it, so it has two holes in each over area. So I'm guessing I need to plumb those coming together with a T fitting? One for the drain and other for the return.

I got this tank as an early birthday gift in Jan. The dims are 72''L 18''W 24''H with dual overflows. The sump is 31''L 11''W 15''H Acrylic. The only tank I have had before this is a 12g nano that I got in Oct. This is a big step up for me and I'm a bit lost on how the plumbing goes, the only plumbing I've done is the plunger to the toilet and plumber's crack if that counts 0= Going to be posting some pics once I learn how, been taking them as I've gone along. Thanks for any input.

Can't wait for this, never been to an aquarium show before. Wife and son will be coming with me. I talked to another couple about this and they will probably go.
-
Thanks a lot for the heads up, waiting to see what he says 0=

Looking for live rock and sand, putting together a 135g tank I just got a few weeks ago (been taking pictures for build post (clap) ). Probably need about 100 lbs to start out with.

Alright no body said it, is that a "catfish" q=

Had the dotty about a month and half, the goby less than a month.. As my wife says, circle of life, but I'm still not happy about it. I was telling my brother in Texas about it (he has a 240g reef tank) and he said circle of life too.

Thanks for the replay and the welcome. Been reading a ton on this site, wonderful people, and I can't wait to see some of the shops in Oregon when I go down there.
