This was the beginning of my first reef tank. Back in 2011, 42g bowfront with 250w metal halide bulb and two actinic T-5s. Had a tiny piece of pulsing Xenia that very quickly took over the entire tank. So much live rock!

Unrelated to the fish catching, but if you’ve never been, make sure to snorkel at two step. It’s a few mins south of Kona. It’s the best snorkeling I’ve ever done

Just an update, I now have two babies ready and available for purchase, and three more babies that will be ready in a about 2 months

I’m currently sold out of frogs, I do have some tadpoles right now, but it will be a few months before they are ready to go. If you’re interested in some other species, Electrokate has tincs available

Yeah I’ve got a trio of highland bronze auratus and a trio of leucomelas. The Terribilis are the only ones breeding though. I didnt really try to get into breeding, it just kind of happened and so I went with it lol.

Yep I currently Have 17 babies. I’ve been holding onto them until they grow up enough to know they are good to sell. All of them have been eating great and I think I’ve got two right now that are ready

So my Terribilis dart frogs have been mating like crazy, and I currently have 22 tadpoles and 4 froglets that just emerged from the water this week. I figured I’d check here first to see if any fellow reef keepers also kept frogs. Obviously im going to wait till the frogs are out of the water, healthy and eating well before I sell them, so prob still a couple months out, just checking to see if there’s interest. Will sell them at $30 a piece with a negotiable price for multiple frogs. Attached is a pic of the dad taking one of the tadpoles to the water

I’ve got a solana 20x20 cube that’s been sitting in my garage for two years now. Just want to get rid of it, free to whoever can come pick it up. Glass is in good shape just dirty. Stand on the other hand is pretty rough, looks fine on the outside but has rusted up hinges and the particle board shelf on the inside is warped and cracked from water damage. Can come with 5 gallon sump and return pump if wanted. Also the tank did have cupramine in it at one time, but supposedly cupramine doesn’t leach like other coppers

So I've got the tunze osmolator 3155, I recently moved, and took about a month before I re-set up my ato. Now it seems the electronic eye sensor isn't working. The ato fills until the float valve hits the emergency shut off. I've wiped down the eye and it looks totally clean... was wondering if anyone has had a similar problem? Or if there was a solution other than buying a new ato

I checked both Tigard stores and the Tualatin store. None of them had 75G... thats as far as I got

So this Thursday my new light will be here. So I will be selling my ai sol (almost positive its the blue version) with the controller and hangers. Would like to get $170 for it.... Havent seen any of these on here lately, so not sure what they are bringing these days

Yeah I noticed she was awake when I woke up at 730am, so I flipped the lights on and fed her then... figured Ill just keep doing that until she decides to stay up later

So on Saturday I picked up a Leopard Wrasse from Cuttlefish, and so far she has been going to bed by around 6pm, even though my lights dont turn off until 9:30... unfortunately I dont get home from work until after 6pm. so... Is it possible to somehow change their sleep pattern? Or will she eventually change to my light settings? Currently its been impossible to feed her... Also would be nice to get to see the fish I purchased lol
