i caught two damsils in two days with the pop bottle fish trap. the first day, no interest, the second day, bam, two fishies gone. i still have one more damsil i think i will get rid of. with my bottle, i drilled a small hole at the bottom of the bottle and squirted some food into it. i would cuculate the food inside the trap with the target feeder.

all i can do is laugh......

if you started with one polyp, you would have 100% growth with every new polyp. if you had eight you would need 8 new polyps for 100% growth. i have had three single polyp frags of the same zoas(fraged at the same time) that grow at different rates and they are right next to each other in my frag tank. 1 has 3, one has 4 and one has 6 that is a 200% growth difference. the same time i frageed these i put 2 three polyp frags on a plug. -600% growth on those 0 left, they all melted irt is not a perfect science on the rate of growth on zoas( the six polyp frag went to another tank so results are skued a little on that one.) it realy comes down to luck as you said but if you are going to play the percentage game, you chances of hitting a larger percentage will be more easily acheived with a smaller starting polyp count. this is like math and my head is hurting(scratch)

Our cleaner shrimp would do the same thing . Always stealing food. We started swatting at it With the target feeder and he finally got the hint. i remember you had a couple for sale quite a few months back.

the overhead door is an exit. it is more a code for exits/egress windows for bedrooms and for the main living area. the garage exit might be able to be counted as one of these exits.. again, check with the permit office to be sure

i beleive there is no code for a window or a walk though door for the garage. my home was built in 94 and has neither. i go to new homes and there are some with neither. cal to be sure but you should be fine. you should get a permit.

are you asking what LFS to go to or what pump? if you have had the tankl for over 4 years, i would assume pump?

I went to Westside sunday and got some nice stuff, as if he has anything that isn't nice... got some zoas and a four line wrasse. he has a great used 30 gal cube with hqi and a chiller.wish I had some cash to spair.. awsome deal!! thanks Tim!!!!

I won the drawing for the grand opening. i got a Scopas Tang, a specled PE and a few used peices of equipment. they are getting a great selection of used stuff in!!!!tanks,calcium reactors power heads, did i mention tanks? everything looks great!(clap) thanks Cos and Robert....
