i made my 20L same way but the Gray line from the return is all the way down which where the input and skimmer will be. i didn't test it yet but i hope it works.

I got a 50 gallon acrylic tank TRUVU® from Goodwill, (cheap) and that's how it all started. I am still working on it but it's almost done. I am going to stain it do the plumbing and than move it instead of the system I am running now. I am going to move all the live rock and corals from the 46 gallon to the new one. It's not a big difference on the tank other than 5 gallons more and it's made of acrylic, but the sump and the stand it's build that way so i'll have plenty of room for all the equipment. Here are some picture with the DIY stand and canopy.

you should be able to find online some coupons for what you need. i never buy stuff online without a coupon.

It has to be with no cracks, but scratches are fine. I want to use it as a sump. The ideal dimensions i am looking for is 24X12X16. PM me if you got anything ??? I can also trade for some SPS corals if you're interested. thank you
