I am wondering???? if you use the sand paper it leaves lots of invisible to the naked eye scratches which algae will have something better to hang on down the road. Let's say that I have a piece or acrylic that's perfect, and another that has been buffed out. Which one will get algae grown quickly? Hope you see my point.
