+1 Beth, I would just try and figure out which piece of equipment is causing it and replace it.

It's much easier completing the honey-do list ((wife))when I dont sweat 30 seconds after I step outside.. Plus theres a 90% chance I can slack out of doing something because of "weather issues"...lol

My 2 cents.. Keep the feedback forum, both negative and positive. With the exception being that only those involved with the negative feedback should reply to the thread. Negative feedback is important to have because it allows members to not only see the complaints but hopefully also the resolution. Were I live there are not really any local FS so its nice to know if I am going to drive at the very least 30mins to get to one that its going to be one thats even worth the bother.

Frank and I did it to a point when I was doing reef years back. I think if you got a frag to spare and you trust the person why not? I've known him for 15 yrs now so it wasnt hard decission for me. Matter of fact I wonder if he still has some purple monster (whistle)

He didnt have any specifics other than for the money they were not worth it and showed me a different skimmer thats on marine depot. I havnt really heard anything negative regarding its operation.

Too true.. I only need to buy a skimmer and a cal reacter and then i'm ready to start. I'm supposed to pick up the reacter tonight. As far as the Octopus I have heard good things about them and was going to buy one but I have a freind trying to talk me out of it so I may go with something else. I guess i'll make the choice myself in the next couple of weeks.

I have only been there once and bought a 75gal acrylic tank to use as a sump. Service was fine for me. However my brother goes there allot and I have heard him complain about the same thing. As far as Upscales being mentioned. When I went there in the old days I had some problems with getting help when Travis wasn’t there but when’s he's there I don’t have any problems getting help. I pretty much only go there now when he's there. Great guy, great store. I probably buy at least 50% of my reefing stuff there.
