On all my tanks the skimmers are in the same chamber as the drain. One of mine has all three in the same chamber as it is just a rubbermaid tub. I have a 20L under my 55 with three chambers but the center chamber is just growing cheato/mangroves. HTH

Those heads are kind of a pain. I have done them before. Today I put pistons in a Jeep since all the skirts broke off.

I recon the donated cars for Portland Rescue Mission. So right now I work on anything and everything. But have worked for Lexus dealer, Honda dealer, Kia dealer, And a couple Euro Import shops. Also have some ASE certs But not as many as John. And in my not so much free time I build Hotrods

After the forgetting to shut it off I put in float switches. It now automatic ally shuts off. The problem this time is it decided to leak at the inlet line right out of the faucet it is on. Can you put a switch or relay of some kind right at the faucet source that shuts the supply off completely?

Cant get a break with these stupid things. Only been using this for a few months. I believe it has cost me more than it has saved(both time and money). Had to extract water out of the carpet cause I left it on. Then it would not work right do I rebuilt the whole thing. Worked great for a couple weeks. Now today it was leaking at the inlet fitting. Resulting in soaked carpet again. Looks like I will be extracting the carpet once again. Feel free to share your RO/DI horror stories. Then we can all join up and shoot/explode a bunch of units using high powered rifles and tannerite.(flame)(flame)(flame)(flame). Anyone want to start selling me water? I dont need much since I am only running a 30 cube right now.

My frag seems to be mounted upside down as well. Looks like it is right about 10mm(1cm). Its in a 30 gallon cube 18x18x18, Viper 150w w/phoenix14k bulb(who knows how old), Simple rubber made sump(no chambers), 40lbs live rock in the display 10 or so pounds in the sump, unknown skimmer, eco plus 633 return, korallia 1050 power head. No dosing just 5 gallon water changes every three days. Not sure how long this frag is going to last for me. It has signs of covering the cut portion with skin but no polyp extension. Frag is placed high up with pretty heavy flow.

What about cutting the ruler off at the "0" line so it can be just set on the top surface of the frag plug.

Ok tomorrow it is. How is the frag supposed to be measured? In MM OR INCHES? The official ruler has a reveal at the end. So we just start with the ruler "0" line(white) aligned with the top surface of the frag plug?
