Are we on for Saturday? When and where? Who wants to do a tank drilling demo? I have a tank that needs a new hole in it. Its my 38 gallon.

Just give it a couple days. It will open up. It might be open tomorrow. It only took one day for mine to open fully. It was just a couple weeks before I noticed new growth on it.

Did you see the drilled 10g that joel has?
By the time I was able to check it out after your text, it was gone. Thanks

I did the drilling successfully one but then broke it with the bulk head so be careful even after the drilling
I have changed my plans. I am going to alter the stand a little bit so I can fit a 20 gallon long tank in it. I will then have enough room for a submersiable pump and not have to drill the tank at all. I am still going to drill the 38 gallon display tank.

What is a "tap plastics"? Is it a store or somebody that makes things out of plastic?

Yes you should test for ammonia. Is your tank new?
-
Do you have any pictures?

How hard is it to build your own tank? Do you have the pieces precut and then just glue them together?
I am thinking of modifying the stand to accommodate a 20 gallon long. I will have to move the center brace in the back and it will have to be extended out about 3 inches.

They said they can't do it. They need a aflat piece of glass. It also sounds like I might have more problems than just drilling. I am going to figure out plan B.
Do you get the job at A.S.?

Well after that, I am back to the drawing board with how to set up this tank.
