Couple months ago the same happened to a friends tank... He found a 20 inch worm thing (looked like the tremmors monster). Had to pull apart his whole tank to get it out. Also read (I think here somewhere) of one of the members pulling out a 7 foot one that was living in his pvc structure! Good luck

I have a UV Lighting company F54/85T5 V-HO lamp for sale or trade. 75%Actinic 25% Tri-Band Phosphor color(scratch). (looks whiteish-pinkish) Got it for christmas, ran it for about 2 weeks, neat color, but I already have Indigo sun which is similar... Make me an offer, will be in the salem area this weekend. I would agree with the t5 crowd. Lots of output, very little heat, many color choices, lasts longer than pc, mh, (not sure about vho). I have 6 on a 55g; 2-deep blue, 2-460 actinic, 1-10K, 1-Indigo sun (kind of lavender). sps, lps, zoas, other softies. Everything grows, and looks great.

Thanks, I would love to do multiple tanks, (when I did freshwater I had 4 tanks)but $$ is super tight right now. I don't want to even spend the $40 on a temp Koralia. If I have to I will sell some stuff to get a vortech. To many dead spots now w/k1,k3 and 250gph return. Eventualy will have fish room with frag tanks like the best of them.

I was wondering if anyone has an mp40 in a 55g.?. Is it too much? That is what I plan on using when I build a 120, but I have dicided to stick with my 55 untill we buy a house (probably within the year). I would go with the mp20, or more powerheads (YUK), but I have a hard time spending money on something I know is temporary.

I had the same happen, not shaking enough when I used it. I broke it up with a chop stick, and added some RO. Have been using for months now without any ill affects. Just shake enough till you hear the marble inside...
