SO, OK. My new tank is up and I retested the levels today and the PH is a bit low at 7.8....

The rest are:

S>G= 1.027

MAGNESIUM= 1250

CALCIUM= 520

PHOSPHATE= 0.0

ALK= 8

PH= 7.8

NITRITE= 0.0

NITRATE= 0.0

Any idea on why it is low... Iwould like to 8.0-8.2

can I dose to bring it up without screwing up my ALK level...

Any help would be much appreciated..(rock2)

Tank is UP

Well Its been up and running about a week. I have torn down the NANO, and 29G almost completlly. It still has a couple clowns in it for now.. But I am happy so far.. I am waiting for my second coat of Polyurathane to dry then one more. So I can put the Canopy on with the 2-400W 14000K Bulbs and 2-36in Actinics...

I have a 36 in 3 bulb T8 setup on it for now.. Just a couple more days for the bulbs to arrive and the Top to dry!!!(clap)

I wish I had a better camera, but when I do I will take some better pics for you all to see as well....

Hey did you say GUAM? I lived there as a kid, my Dad was stationed there for 3 years... But moved to San Diego,CA. Lived there my whole young life till 25. Moved away because cost of living.. But if I had the Money, I waould move back to SD in a heart beat!!!!!!!!

I have two Clown fish, I dont want to put in my new tank. I believe they are Clarkies. I got them from Scott in Albany, when he tore down his tank..

I'm more of a Coral guy so if someone has some frags they would like to trade, lets talk...Im still looing for a MH Reflector!

I just got paid and cought up from Christmas and looking again. I was going to try and make the Lumenarc I see in the forum but dont know if I could do it correctlly and dont want to waste the money if I cant...

Maybe if someone can make me a couple if I paid them?(plotting)

Very cool, I just set mine up too, But hey get rid of the Bio Balls. I had a wet/dry on my other tank and I always hed high Nitrates... Cut the first plate with all the holes in it, so there is a hole big enough to fit a Filter sock into...

I too had a recordia on a rock and it started to move down and over the corner of my Sun Coral.... It ate 3 heads before I moved it... The recordia grew twice the size after and the SunCoral was taken down to the skeleton on 3 heads..OUCH....

Are they safe... I mean will they harm anything i.e. Coral, LPS, SPS?

I started moving acouple things to my new tank and I noticed little shrimp looking guys maybe a quarter of an inch long start darting out from under the frag plugs I had sitting on rocks...I mean they have a tail like a shrimp!!

Kinda like Mycis but I have never introduced Mycis to that tank.... I now know its good food, but am unsure of what exactlly they are..\

I wish I could send pics but they wont comeout good with my Cell phone camera...

Does anyone have any idea what they could be... ? (scratch)(scratch)

Looking to trade for: T5 waterproof end caps, Return pump over 1100GPH, Filter discs for two little fishies reactor, sump less than 24"x 20" x 24" tall, in sump BIG skimmer less than 20" tall, CO2 and regulator.
