On my first tank I used a threaded chrome plated metal hose adapter in my plumbing. But hey, it wasnt copper right? It took a couple months to figure out why the inverts kept croaking -

Very cute. My sister has a King Charles and that dog can SEE the TV. They cant watch a nature show without the dog freakin' out.

I had one and the preskimmer worked, it was just big. if you have a little tank it takes a lot of space. and it would never stay attached by the suction cups it came with.
