I would run a gurgle buster. Thats what I run in my little cube tank. It helped alot with noise

We picked up a pair of Banggais from Garrett about a month ago. They pretty much left each other alone for the first couple of weeks. Then one started picking on the other one and chasing it a lot. The one being picked on started hiding a lot. This went on for a week or two, but now they are back to behaving the same way they were when we first got them. We don't know much about Bangaii behavior though.

That sounds like a long lighting period to me. I just run 250w 20k MHs over my tank and have them on for 7 hours a day. I would start with just the t5s and slowly add time with the MH. I found a huge difference switching from PCs to t5s to MH. If it were me, I would do between 7-10 hours of total lighting time. Like run the MH for 6 hours and the t5s a hour or two before and after the MH once everything adjusts.

I'm glad to hear you might be getting a tank. Mike is a great guy and the program is amazing. Ive seen so many kids benefit from it. I used to work for the Pioneer Program at the High School an also at the Division locations. Ive worked everywhere there except the annex. Keep us posted. I might have to swing by and check out the tank and say hi to old coworkers.

Yes I'm sure its the rare blue and green sympodium. It came as a bonus on a order I did Also, only 1 share the love per person will count. So I was going to count the first one from you. I agree with you. I used to work in Special Education and wished I knew of a tank for teachers program while I was there.

I got them as Ronald McDonalds. Here is a better pic of them. That frag is gone, but I was thinking of fragging them again soonish.

Anything on a bright white square plug are frags I just got. In the last pic the 2 big colonys you can make out are AOIs and I forget what the bright green skirt ones are.

Thats one of the ones that got blown out. They arent quite that bright. But they are either the Armor of Gods, Devils Armor or Armageddons. I cant tell the difference between the 3. In the Second to last photo there are similar ones mixed in with the maroon w/ teal centers colony.

Set up the 25 gallon cube again to use as a frag tank/grow out tank. The 20k bulbs throw my camera off so I tried to fix the pictures. On a few the colors are a little blown out, but most are really close to in person.

If you use a wavemaker I would think that would be your flow.

I have a 240 cube and I just run 2 dart pumps.1 for return and 1 closed loop through 8 alternating returns (4 & 4) and I.think the flow is fine. Sent from my HERO200 using Tapatalk
