So I just got a "new" car to replace my totaled cabrio. Its a 95 2 door golf 2.0L. Drove it home without problems. Decided to change out the cap and rotor since the guy had no idea when it was done last. In the process of doing it, I broke the breather hose on the front of the block. Replace it with a new hose swapped the cap and rotor and now the car wont start. Plugs are in the right order, battery is fine, rotor is on the right way (it has a notch in it so you cant install it wrong), I have spark and gas. It sounds like it should when starting. Not slow. Just wont start. Dont think timing should be off, since all i did was remove the cap and rotor and put on the new one. Didnt move anything. Dont have a timing light so cant check. Ideas? Anyone want to come look at it? Have beer, will share .
Took a bunch of pain killers today so its rather hard to work on anything. I also checked all the fuses and they are all fine. Ill even let you check out our new 240g tank
