  1. The pumpkin patch is pretty big is like 3" x 3" an the last one is like 1.5" x 1" it has a neon green eye though. I am interested. Do you have a pic?
  2. I know some of you out the are big chalice fans. Me? Not so much. I prefer milleporas, acros and encrusting monti's. That being sad I have a few nice chalices I would like to trade. I don't want a million dollars for them, although that would be nice, I would just like a fair and reasonable trade. They just recently moved into my new tank so they haven't totally colored up and my iPhone camera doesn't really do them justice but Here they are as best as I know them: Oregon Mummy Eye with at least 4 or 5 eyes about 1.5" x 1" ( I got it as such but I can't track lineage) Looks like pumpkin patch but unknown with 8 eyes about 3" x 3" Here are some thing I would like to add to my tank: Blue millepora Hawkins blue echinata Phils granulosa Black magic millepora Roscoes blue Rainbow millepora Water Mellon millepora Let me know if your interested.

  7. An otherwise healthy fish, in a healthy system will usually fight off ick. I have had tangs in the past that would be fine for months then show signs of ick. In a few days it would be gone.
  8. Like I said, just my humble opinion. I don't claim to be an electrician and know how wattage converts to btu's or anything like that. Just passing on a few mistakes I have made and some of the experiences I have had.
  9. And if you don't have enough room for a fuge under your tanks run a display fuge next to your tanks and gravity feed from the tank to the fuge then from the fuge to the sump. Works quite well
  10. Of course this is just my opinion but I use as few pumps as possible. Pumps will eventually fail, even the mag pumps so less is always better. More pumps means more heat which can either make your chiller work harder or make your tank harder to keep cool if you don't have a chiller, more electricity usage is also a factor plus the use of additional space in your sump. I am a simple guy and have found that hard plumbing with PVC and using one pump teed with ball valves is the way to go
  11. Split your plumbing. Much better than using two return pumps. Are you using PVC to plumb or flex hose?
  12. Just got two very nice frags for a super fair price. Thanks again. Doug

  19. I would like to buy or prefer trade for a 24" 250 mh fixture, preferable with some T5 actinics. Maybe like a maristar or sunpod or something of the sort. I have quite a bit of equipment I could trade. An 18" 150 sunpod, Koralia pumps and other misc equipment. Just let me know. Doug
