  3. I change 35 gallons every three weeks on my 180 gallon voume system, 5 gallons every two weeks on my 24 and 25 gallon systems and a gallon or so every other day on my 17 gallon frag system. Jeez, I just realized I spend far too much time doing aquarium maintenance...:>))
  4. I thought it was a pokerstars. I got it from Patrick at SWF about a year or so ago. It was almost completely blue, but under my lighting it's gradually changed to this multi-colored polyp thing. The new growth is almost completely blue until it starts to polyp up. Thanks Michael and Hozer, the combination of coral envy and a hesitation to trim causes this effect in my tanks.
  5. It almost always happens that whenever I finish a water change, I get a uniquely calm feeling. Usually, I go play golf, (clap)today I took a few pictures.(rock2) Hope you like them. 180 gallon pentagon.
  6. Rock-Mags $ 15.00 each Rock-Mag Jr $ 7.50 each Thanks for helping us all reach deeper into our "chill-dom"

  9. I too have used it several times despite hearing a few negative stories. Agree that you must follow dosing instructions and particularly running the air stone for oxegen exchange. good luck
  10. This got me wondering, if a carpet anemone went surfing, would it be considered magical?
  11. Excuse the silly question, I'm not familiar with T5's, how wide are these bulbs and reflectors? Would they fit in a 17" wide canopy? thanks
  12. Here are pictures of the Deltec TS1250 skimmer. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks, Mark

  14. Thanks fgor the feedback gentlemen. With my aversion to lids/screens/tops on my office tank, I think I'll invest in a small clown as I've not heard of clowns going airborne. Cheers, mark

  17. I've just upgraded to a larger Deltec skimmer and have a Deltec TS1250 in sump skimmer for sale. Rated for 130 - 200 gallon systems with a tiny footprint. It's just had a vinegar bath and is ready to rock and roll your tank. $ 325 obo I also have a TLF Phosban reactor 150 that's been used for about a year and a bit. $ 25. Shoot me a PM if you're interested. Pictures posted soon. Mark
  18. Thanks, I've been looking for a reason to check out this shop. It's one of several that I haven't had the chance to see yet.
  19. Sadly yesterday I returned to my office after spending a half hour or so in the warehouse and noticed my bartlett's anthias had jumped to an untimely demise. I've avoided adding wrasses to my Aquapod at the office for this very reason, but alas he/she took the plunge. Are anthias known to be jumpers? I don't really want to put any protection on top but really enjoy watching the anthias swim and due to their feeding needs, can't really have them in my tank at home. I would appreciate any feedback from knowledgeable anthis people. Thanks, mark
