  1. red palys with blue speckles. first pic under clam mantle
  2. great looking tank. I love blue magicians.
  3. I've been using rod's for about a year now. I love the ingredients list and so do my fish. I just recently switched to the herbivore blend because of my 3 tangs and they seem to love that stuff too.
  4. Ok I finally got into soutas this weekend (last time I went and they weren't there, and this was before I knew the situation with Senior). I must say WOW!!! This place was fantastic if you are into acro. Ricky really knew his stuff and explained everything carefully, not to miss any detail. He is a very respectful and respetable young man and it was a pleasure doing business there. Thanks guys for everything.
  5. yep, just a few of them (couldn't afford more). Bob did hook me up though
  6. Bob thank you very much for the DEAL on the PH!!! Personally I have wanted some of these since I saw them the first time. I also appreciate the fair deal you gave us on the other few odds and ends we got. I would encourage anyone to run in and check out bob's store. It may be small but it has the it!! Thanks bob
  7. I have an octopus bh 100 that I would sell for 75
  8. Joel, I'm the guy that works in the store in central oregon. i appreciate you answering my wife's questions (as horrible as they were) and giving her a good deal on some frags.
  9. can't wait to see this thread unfold.
  10. Maybe I did get myself a little off topic. Sorry about that. Do I have the equipment that sanjay has???? no. Will I use a lux meter?? yes. Not sure how much that may prove or disprove. But I do plan on ordering a set of radiums and some xm's (xm 20 and radium) to compare. What is going to happen I don't know. I'm not even sure what other equipment I may need. I would like to find an actual par meter but there is a thread on another site that tells how to convert lux to par. (only in ballpark)
  11. this thread wasn't about the bulbs. It was about ups lack of ever being able to get the packages here on time. I know the risks I'm taking with these bulbs. I just wanted the things here so I can test them.
  12. These are ebay bulbs. I'm going to give them a little run on a lux meter to check their performance over the long term. I do think that the aquarium bulb manufacturers gouge us a little bit and if I can spend 50 bucks on 2 bulbs to my door I will do it. I was going to put this on a thread at a later date but I couldn't believe this "NATURAL DISASTER" nonsense. (I also have a couple of wholesale accounts due to the nature of my business so I can get bulbs cheap but I just wanted to give this a shot.)
  13. nope coming from chicago. MORONS
  14. small skimmers are useless in my opinion due to lack of dwell time in the skimmer chanber. That's a small enough tank that I think weekly water changes would be the best way to go.
  15. I have a mandarin and a wrasse in my 150. My lubocks fairy wrasse eats frozen
  16. that's the question I have. Not once this week have I heard of a natural disaster in spokane. I hate ups.
  17. Ok, I ordered new bulbs for my tank on monday and they are being shipped ups. Read my tracking info below and tell me what you see and yes it's the real tracking info.
