  1. I changed my 400w mh from 20k to 14k and my coraline seems to be getting lighter in color. Not sure that the light change had anything to do with it but thats when I noticed the change in color.
  2. I have two types for sale on this thread. The pictures aren't great but the colors are pretty true. http://www.pnwmas.org/forums/showthread.php?t=10017 I think I put $6-$10 a frag but really closer to $6-$8 Corey
  3. I will be in Eugene on Saturday and could meet any of you southerners that might want a frag. PM me and we can set something up.
  4. I replaced the Pics with new slightly better ones. Willing to make trades too. Let me know what you have.
  5. I atill have these zoa's for sale. I hope to get some better pics up tonight. Anyone who wants is welcome to come by and look.
  6. Here is the link to the clip on you tube. It's wild. The fish is actually inside the clam. Great pics Andy
  7. (worthless) I have heard of this before.. Would love to see a picture if you have or can get one.
  8. Well, here they are. I am really kinda embarrassed to put these up. My camera is (censored). RPE? Green Bay?
  9. Still working on the photos. Frags are $6 to $10 each.
  10. So I have some zoas for sale. At least 6 polyps per frag. I have what I believe are RPE's. 12 frags for sale I also have some with green outers and yellow to orange mouths. Not sure the name(Greenbay Packers?). 3 frags for sale I will try to get some photos up later. $4 to $8 per frag or trades
  11. I'll give you one cat and pay you full price for the coral. I will probably need a place to stay afterwords.(wife)
  12. That looks familiar. Just wanted to thank you again Garrett. Everything looks great. The Pocillopora seems to be doing well. Good polyp extension. Can't wait to see you start a new set up. Corey
  13. I have a sixline and have not had any problems with him picking on any of the other inhabitants of my 80g. He is a great fish to watch too. Love the way they swim through every nook and cranny of the rock work. I have seen mine find a tunnel all the way through a large piece of LR about 10 inches across. Beautiful too.
  14. Koralia also makes a nano (240gph) that may work. Or maybe two nanos to get flow from different directions. If you do not plan on keeping SPS corals you may want to go with less flow and then add some later if you do not feel you have enough. LPS and soft corals seem to open up better in lower currents. 15. Option 3 gets my vote. Keeps the reef related items forum clean and still provides a place for members to trade other things.
  16. The marine aquarist formerly known as madreefer.
  17. Are you thinking about just going with a symbol?

    T-5 question

I will. I will try to post before and after shots if I can get some good pics.

    T-5 question

Thanks Sam. I will probably stick with the giesemann then.
  20. I don't know about the rest of you but I personally can't find a reason to go to Petco for anything. The improper handling of the fish department is just a starting point. I find that I can get supplies for my dogs and cat at local shops for a better price, better service and usually from someone with better knowledge. I realize that some Petco employees know what they are talking about but most do not. I prefer my money going to the local shops. I think if everyone would take some time to look around at some local shops Petco would have to change or go under.

    T-5 question

Thanks Sam I will take a look at those. Are there any other brands that may be a good choice?
  22. you may have to run four 36" bulbs to get what you want. I am currently shopping for new bulbs for my fixture (48") and have not noticed any t-5's longer than that. Not saying they aren't out there, but I have not seen them.
