  1. I got my letter yesterday and signed up for the 1 yr of free credit protection that BRS is giving everyone. I didn't have any red flags show up, but it was a relief to see the clean summary and to have the monitoring in place. It is something that I should be doing anyway.

Same here, we had a similar instance with a bank a few years back and they also provided this service, good job BRS thanks for following through with the free credit protection.

  2. Anyone have a fish go blind, I have a large Blue Chromis that I noticed this morning on the side/top of the tank like it was in distress. She is several years old and a bully to the smaller one, Maybe she was bolting after the other one and smacked her head into something. This evening she was swimming around, backing up and running into things, she swam right into a Rose Anemone then backed out. I put a net right in front of her and picked her right up, she never saw it or tried to move.

She's in the sump for now I'll see how she does.

  3. This is like Green Star polyp, same purple leathery skin but it curls into branches. This piece is on rock and the sand bed, it needs to be isolated  or given it's own rock to grow on. Trades welcome or this is a good starter coral for beginners you can have a piece.

  4. I have a 3/4" hose the goes from inside tank room out near a waste line and the 55g water/salt with a pump inside circulating. I take the pump out of the 55 into the tank room slip the hose on and pump approx 55g out of the sump, Then take the pump back out to the barrel slip on same hose and pump 55g back into the sump. Takes about 30 min, I don't always do 55g sometimes less, I could use a second pump but it only takes a minute plus I can clean and check the pump from the mixing barrel.

Having a line in place to use for both pumping water out and then back in makes it very quick and easy water change

  5. Thanks for the info, I have tried the same with pasting in the thread with some working and some not I'll try the tree pic
