Yay! Nano tank of the month on reefcentral

I used to keep crystal shrimp as well but they died out; those buggers are very finicky; i spent a lot of money on a group of 60 (grade S+/SS) and the population never took off. The LFS stock on freshwater shrimp SUCKS and the prices are ridiculous; they want $4.95 for cherry shrimp! i ordered all mine online. It took me forever to track down a seller for the cardinals; they are still quite rare in the hobby, hence the price. These guys go for at least $15/shrimp if you can find them; and i've heard of fish store selling them for 30 bucks a pop. I have a few berried females and babies right now so I should have more available soon. I can do a smaller group; reason I sell them in group of 10 is because they are impossible to sex (no sexual dimorphism at all), you have a better chance of getting a good mix of both sexes. Hieu

S O L D ! Thanks for looking!

I have a group of 10 juvenile cardinal shrimp for $120. These are rare, highly sought after freshwater shrimp; they look like mini scarlet shrimp ; most are wild imports at the moment and don't fare well due to transport stress. These are tank bred; I started with a group of 10 a few months ago. They prefer mature tanks with some crushed coral. I also have freshwater cherry shrimp at $1 each (I have a lot of these) I'm trying to see if i can sell these locally first so I don't have to mess with shipping.
