  1. I just upgraded to the nx500. I'm selling my nx300 setup that I used for a while for reef macros. This camera takes fantastic photos even without a dedicated macro lens; below are some images I've taken with the setup. Camera is in very good condition: no scratches on the screen, only one minor scratch on top of the camera; comes with two batteries, circular polarizer, and a set of Polaroid macro diopters). Asking $300.

  2. Thanks, guys! I think the most important thing when it comes to taking photos of reef tanks is the White Balance; each camera is different so you'll have to open up the manual to figure out how to set the Custom White Balance (most point and shoot cameras do not have this feature). I currently do not have a macro lens, all of the photos posted here were taken with macro diopters; you can find a set on amazon/ebay for less than $20. For editing, I use instagram since they have very good adjustment tools (don't use the preset filters).

  3. I accidentally bumped the frag plug that this guy was partially attached to and tore it in half; luckily both pieces are healing up nicely. I'll only keep the one attached to the big rock; one piece is up for sale or trade; shoot me an offer :) I'm looking for a small piece of rainbow acan or dendro.
