  1. I'll look around tonight, I know they're stored in a tote somewhere...

I'm hoping to spend Sunday on the river. Not sure if you're going to check out the frag swap but I'll be watching the shop for Travis while he's in Europe, I could always bring them there if I find them tonight. Pretty sure I know which one they're in.

Granted I have like 4 totes full of tank stuff lol.

    only 4 totes? I have half a basement ????

I have to work tomorrow too and then I'll be out in the couve around 6pm. After that I'm free.

  2. Fisher, is 1 million going to be enough for a clutch of about 200? Or would I need to get 5 million?

Chris, thanks for the offer! I just may stop by and pick those up(gives me an excuse to see your tank). You busy Sunday? Shoot me a pm. I have never raised any fry yet. My old pair of onyx were spawning but I was too lazy/busy to rear any of them. I am exited to try this time!

    Thanks guys!

  3. I'm looking for live Rotifers.... I am most likely going to place an order through reed mariculture but just throwing this out there.

If anyone has some, or knows a local place to get a starter culture, I would love more info.

Just got my Darwins to spawn on a 6x6 tile!

Exited to try my hand at breeding!

  4. Much better pics. They look like a cross between A. Percula and A. Ocellaris. The eyes are a dead give away. Beautiful none the less. Glad you are able to sell them. Didn't mean to derail your thread. ????

  5. Hieu,

Those look like A. Ocellaris to me.

Beautiful pair and a nice color variant, but not A. Percula.

If I didn't already have a spawning pair, I would be all over this (especially with the nem).

  6. You are a great writer and planner! I know one of your master plumbers not sure on the other????

Very wise to use the marine land stand and use gravity for your ATO.

I've been telling people for years that gravity never fails. Some listen and some learn.....

Once again, very nice system! I'm jealous! Can't wait to see the finished product....

  7. Very cool! I'm guessing it's an AIO setup with the flat back panel. Wonder if they make one without the AIO panel for a jelly tank....

Very nice place for a tank! Can't wait to see it stocked. Some dwarfs and a bluestripe pipefish would be sweet. Some NPS corals would be cool too...

    I need one!

  8. i battled Dino's for over a year, you either put in the work of trying every method possible in hopes you can take it out (Be advised allot will be lost in the battle, including corals, money, and time) or you simply save yourself a headache and rebuild, looking back had I known what the battle was going to be like I would have never bothered fighting it, I would have just did a tear down and rebuild,  just my 2 cents.

Lex, how much SPS did you loose in your battle with Dino's? I remember your fight thread and you had quite the bought with it.

I also believe allot has to do with the size of tank and the filtration methods you have in place, I have a 30G with a PLS-50 skimmer, Had I had a sump with a large efficient skimmer, I suspect the battle would have been shorter than a year, you essentially have to strip your system of excess nutrients and ensure it stays that way. The Dino's feed on those excess nutrients therefore like an algae they have to be starved of their food source. Hydrogen Peroxide is your friend and small periodic doses will make a huge dent.

    Agree 100%

As long as you're using RODI, doing regular water changes, feeding sparingly, and have researched as much as it sounds like you're doing, it's a long battle.

Starting over is WAY easier. Just need patience....

    Dino's always come back...

Setting up a temporary tank can help keep what you want to keep during the reboot.

    Good luck.
