  1. If you are ever at our shop, and are looking at the big frag/zoo tank. Look in the back right corner, there are close to a hundred living there.
  2. They look to be some sort of oyster or mussel. They are good and we get in a bunch of them on the bottom of our zoo rocks. Not sure on specific name but they are not harmful to anything that i have seen or heard of.
  3. How about this: http://www.melevsreef.com/aefw.html

    Wave2K

The thing about these is they are not designed to be the only water mover in the tank. They are designed to work with a closed loop or something else along those lines, your powerhead's or whatever. That way they are working with new water in a sense all the time. As new of water as you can get i guess inside a closed system. I have also read much better things about the tunze wavebox than the wave2k. I am actually in the process of building/having built a wavebox or 2 for my 240cube. I will let you know if and how it works out. fwiw
  5. Yes we can, and i am willing to setup some chairs and tables and stuff out back if it's nice and we want to meet out there.
  6. Impur, Reefboy, anyone else that might know. Any idea what the name of the last zoo pictured is? Kind of looks like a pe to me with the green mouth.
  7. Got some new zoo's today...Here are the pics:
  8. I already pm'd him volunteering us bob. We will always host the meeting. We can even do a raffle this time.
  9. You guys and your expensive camera's...lol
  10. Like joel, our show tank, frag tank, my home tank, and my 240 cube are all lit w/these bulbs. They rock.
  11. Thats what i have been telling people all along! Welcome to the radium cult lol
  12. I thought you were keeping that....
  13. I don't know if any one has one for loan, but i have been hearing really good things about this book. http://reefkeeping.com/issues/2007-04/bc/index.php
  14. Thanks man, i really like it.
  15. Yuck, thats all i can say. So unnatural looking. Its good for stores because it does keep the tanks very clean. But, from a hobbyist point of view. It just doesnt look natural, just like you said. Maybe if growing sps was my only goal, then i would do it, but i want a little peice of reef in my living room, not that thing... fwiw
  16. The one impur posted is the skimmer at the oca.
  17. We will take it holly, and give you some store credit for it. Just swing by anytime.
  18. i really like the 20k radiums i'm running. Its what we have on our show tank and i have always liked them. They are now on my home tank and are going over my 240 cube...
  19. Why i didnt use vinegar is cause basically im a lazy person and with the acid all i do is spray it on, let is soak, and blast it off with a hose. No scrubbing involved.
  20. Yes, or you can come get some from us, we have a big jug we use to clean off old tanks and we can give you some for your use. It works great, just, do it outside, and be careful, and dont get it on you anywhere.
  21. just lmk when you get a chance to come up.
  22. Thanks guys, Reefboy, see anything you want to trade for? Besides those ones? You have a few things i wouldnt mind adding to it. How many zoo's are on a frag usually? i have never really traded zoo's before.
