  1. If the red sea falls through for whatever reason I'll take it... Was just a little too slow figuring out where I could install it and how to reinforce the floor from the basement.
  2. Man, I totally want that red sea tank but I don't think it'll fit anywhere in my house 😕
  3. Okay I'll nibble... Still got it? What's the CV-19 logistics situation? Can't seem to get over the disco effect on my LED fixtures and I remember T5's being legit. I guess I can give the ATI a try and resell whichever fixture I like less I'm driving in from The Dalles picking up a sump from danik sometime soon... Maybe over the weekend or early next week, might as well grab two things on the same trip. PM me if you want to work out details.
  4. I'll take it but we should probably figure out CV-19 logistics. I'm out in the gorge but I can paypal now and come pick it up later from six feet away, or if you can/will ship it I can send you a prepaid label. Just PM me your thoughts.
  5. Ah crap did I say torch? I meant hammer. Nuclear greens are open just fine today. Everything's looking good.
  6. And now I got frags. GSP is still a little shy but it's trying...
  7. I'd like a GSP frag - just let me know where/when.
  8. Hi guys, I'm selling my skimmer - it's an AquaC remora. The pump is a maxijet 1200. It's in great physical condition and skims great too. I no longer have a tank and probably won't for the foreseeable future. Funds will go to bike project in progress $75 takes it. I'm in Eugene/Springfield area. Shipping to elsewhere would be extra. Thanks!
  9. The cable is extremely easy to build if you have any sort of electronics inclination. You need a 4 wire RJ11 plug, or just hack apart any phone cable laying around, just make sure it has all 4 cables. Most home phones only use the center pair. You also need a DB9 Female connector. Pin 1 of RJ11 -> pin 5 of DB9 Pin 2 of RJ11 -> pin 3 of DB9 Looking at the Jr's temperature connector pin 1 is on the left hand side. That's it. Two wires.
  10. The skeleton was kind of a figure 8 shape, and when I first got it, there was fluorescent green inside the skeleton itself, but now I've got the fleshy growth instead.
  11. I've got a canopy leftover from my old 55G tank. Previous owner had painted it black to match stand. For some reason they also put a mirror into the lid as a reflector (rock2) and they glued it too (rock2). Other than that it's in nice shape and a great improvement over no canopy, just put your own lighting in and ignore the mirror I'm looking for $20 and I'll drop it off in the eugene/springfield area.
  12. I have a nice black oak canopy that would fit this nicely. $20 takes it
  13. I'm thinking it's probably a brain of some sort, the more I look at it.
  14. This thing came on a piece of live rock I picked up and I thought it was just a dead skeleton... Tonight I noticed it was starting to grow flesh and sort of inflate. I cant tell what its going to be but its kind of exciting that its doing something... There's some gross junk on it but I'll take the turkey baster to it tomorrow. Anyone have thoughts? Bubble coral maybe?
  15. Hey guys, I have a Prizm I'd like to sell. It's missing the overflow box that its supposed to have. Still works great - I didn't get the box when I bought it either. Upgrading to an AquaC Remora. I'm in Eugene/Springfield so let me know if you'd like to come check 'er out. I'd trade for some frags/locline/chaeto/cash or any combination thereof.
  16. Mine kinda sucks, but oh well... It's really tough to get the white balance right. The coloration isn't quite that blue.
  17. okay I decided the picture didn't show how hilarious he was acting so I made a video. Here's the youtube link: I had to cut off the video because I started cracking up again. He's still at it now only he's trying it from the bottom instead
  18. I've been laughing for about half an hour now. I brought home this beautiful green bubble tip anemone and my clowns can't hold their horses. They've been bouncing off the bag for at least 45 minutes trying to get to it (laugh) I don't remember the last time my aquarium actually had me laughing out loud with nobody else around. had to share:
  19. I should have the skimmer some time next week and maybe I could arrange to check out the sump, but by all means sell it to someone else if they want it first.
  20. Unfortunately, that thread isn't what we're talking about... I have read it several times as I was originally going to build my. The RC thread is about building your own controller using the Dallas One Wire interface and file system, and this is about using the linksys to interface an existing controller.
  21. There's a variant of the linksys that has a serial port on it, or a USB port... Can't remember which, but that's the one I'm thinking of. edit: here's the mod http://www.rwhitby.net/projects/wrt54gs
  22. Hopefully I can get ahold of a linksys router that has a serial port and do a little development on it. That would give people a way to access their tank wirelessly. That's coming soon I hope.
  23. Where's the water level at on the wet/dry? I'm trying to figure out if I can fit an AquaC Remora in/on it some how...
