  1. I offered up the kenya tree. This thing is huge so have been forgetting to ask how big you want? I would like to donate as much as I can.
  2. This might be relevant: http://www.nano-reef.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=204365 I am thinking about ordering one for my Ap24. They seem like a legit company from all the feedback I see on nano-reef.
  3. They look more like flatworms but the pics kinda blurry.
  4. Mr s if you are going to the november meeting I could bring your kenya tree with me to the meeting? Also if Ca2or isn't going I could pick up your zoa's from him and bring them along as well?
  5. I have been using api test kits for 6 years and have no issues with mine. The tank is cycling. Stuff is dying and stabalizing. You have nitrates from die off from the rock. You are using ro water shouldn't be any nitrates in that. Sit back and wait for it....good things come to those who wait!
  6. ......and here I was thinking it was all for fun.....DOH! I voted Good as is.
  7. You should totally write the company. I lost the magnet and shaft out of my old #1 that I had for well over a year. I wrote them just to ask where I could buy replacement parts and he sent me both brand new pieces no questions asked. I will see if I still have the guys email. If nothing else he might be able to tell you how to fix it! I found the # it is 866-493-6787 and I dealt with a guy named Frank Moore. Hope this helps.
  8. First let me say welcome~! Ok man I don't know who told you it was a good idea to keep any fish or crabs or any livestock while your tank is cycling but it's not. Basically they are swimming around in thier own waste. That is why they are dying. You don't have enough bacteria to break it down yet. Your best bet would be to take the living stock out and return it. Keep testing you water and when your perams are stable do a large water change and add your snails and hermits or your cleaners to start taking care of the natural algae that will occur while your cycle is happening. While they are cleaning plan what you want to keep coral wise. This will determine if the amount of light and flow you have now will be sufficient or you will need to upgrade. I.e stony corals will require a lot more light and flow. The most important thing I have learned in this hobby is go slow. Sounds like a great tank and it will be lots of fun!
  9. I think that looks more like a chalice or monti than a mushroom? I would say chalice if it is hard. Most anything can be fragged.
  10. I bought a nice welsophilia there the other day. Very nice guy and great shop!
  11. I have one I think if you need one. I will check!

    Got Crabs??

    Nice crabs ya got there!
  13. You might find your worm in here: http://www.chucksaddiction.com/hitchworms.html It could also be a Eunicid worm. Some say they are harmless but others say they have documented them eating corals and even fish. This is what I believe Steve Weast tore his rock work apart to get out of his tank and his was like 6 feet long!

That clam is beautiful! Nice collection as well.
  15. I bought one and it lasted like a month before I traded it in. They are worse than urchins..... but very cool creatures and mine seemed to stay out alot but I also fed my tank alot! I hear from others that thiers hide all the time and only come out at night.
  16. I don't know what size you want but this is a good deal. http://www.nano-reef.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=209834&pid=2497606&st=0entry2497606
