Most likely 3 wires. DC power (Vcc and GND) and a wire for control.

This sound normal to me. When your sump have more water, the distance your return pump need to push water is slightly less, thus less head pressure, thus slightly more flow. When sump level drops, more distance, more head pressure, thus less flow.

Had this pencil urchin for a month now. Just discovered it munch a bit on my sps! Not happy... Thinking of putting it in the overflow but may not have enough food to sustain it long term.

Still have 2 long spine urchin, so far they are behaving. Gave away a short spine urchin (mini tennis ball size), he was the best turf algae grazer but he also pushed all my frags off.

1 yellow tang, 2 clownfish, 2 purple firefish, 6 pajama cardinals, 4 banggi cardinals, 1 leopard wrasse, 1 flasher wrasse, 1 Filefish, 2 chromis. Mostly sps with few LPS (hammers and goni). Feed pellets 2-5 times daily, flake food once daily, and frozen 4-7 times weekly. Total volume was 60gal, just added 50gal frag tank. Started heavy feeding since Feb when I added DIY algae scrubber.
