Is the yellow tang pickin on it? They can get a little bullyish. Maybe remove the yellow tang temporarily

I had the same problem recently...... Was a dang gfci that I didn't know was there.....I went around for the day scratching my head....thinkin I checked all the gfci....one was hidin behind tje toaster...lol

Hey ryan, u can get julian sprung products at petco.... in the foil packaging and the mixed in the container.... Also I seen it at upscales(the yellow cap mixed variety) ........fwiw only my tangs,rabbitfish, and angels eat this stuff.....the wrasses,clowns,pajama and baggaii cardinals have shown no interest in it....won't touch it.....

....didn't you change bulbs recently? My purple rim cap used to lose its purple from too much light ... 12 inches from light.( Radium/helios on 400hqi ballast) bleachin out? How's the temp...if it was high ...my cap would lose color.....phosphates?

If its a parasite or pathogen of some kind....it'll life cycle will time out with no hosts (fish)present should be safe to put fish in about 4 weeks , 6 to be extra safe.......just start qt fish now for that time to come.....I'd keep heat on the upper end (80) in your display tank to speed up metabolism of parasite and its life cycle......hth. Your inverts can stay Also speaking from experience its a lot harder to keep many qt tanks " up to par" daily versus Just havin one larger one ....also wayer parameter are more stable....maybe look for a 29 gal.......
