General recommendations are 1 per 10 gallons of aquarium volume, it depends a lot on how many aiptasia you have. If you only order a few it will be the next generation of berghia that do most of the work, so it can take several months to completely eradicate the aiptasia problem. I've had many that have wanted to take care of the problem and ordered a couple extra adults and the aiptasia have been gone in just a few weeks. If anyone has specific questions i'm more than happy to answer any and all questions. Also to clear up a few questions that many ask, 1. Berghia only eat aiptasia nothing else 2. Berghia are not toxic they will not hurt your fish or your tank if they die 3. When you run out of aiptasia berghia will roam a lot more and you can often catch them out and resell them to other reefers. 4. There is a good chance you will not see them again for quite some time once they are added to a reef. 5. They can handle high flow once acclimated and settled, i've had them in my 20,000 gph SPS tank 6. Fish and peppermint shrimp can and will eat them, they stay within the rockwork and hunt at night to avoid predation. The primary danger is just when you initially put them in the tank.

Jim I know a breeder of them he sells them "adults for $10 each. I wanted to try some also for a nagging aptasia problem. I treated them with aptasia-x and made them worse. my wrasses eat my pepperment shrimp and i have not tried the CB yet. If you want to go in we can split the shipping.

i have given frags of the or tort and seen it morf into different colors or growth patterns depnding on the tank it gets put in. For example I have the true tyree purple monster when i took down my 330 for a move I gave travis a frag so i could get one back later. Now i have a 200 sps and my PM looks different than it did in my 330. Same coral just slightly different conditions i think the growth of yours looks like the or tort its just greener then most

i have two types of PPE one stays purple with bright green tents no matter how much light i give. I have another PPE that gets speck's under high light i do not think that its a true PPE even know it was sold to as one. here is the speckled one and the true

I have them them and Aiptasia-x sucks and my peppermint shrimps got ate by my fleet of wrasses. :eek: So i was thinking of trying some berhgia nudibranch they are $10 each for egg laying size and $50 for overnight shipping if we get to 40 nudis then shippings free. I don't expect that but it would be cool to split shipping with a few folks So let me know if anyone is interested I would be down for 4

I have a great purple digi and already have a mounted frag you can have for a coral to be named later. i did not see anything you posted that I wanted or if you want to buy a colony I have a nice size purple digi colony I would sell for $50

i purchased sps frags from unique corals and they were not even close to the photos he posted on line i would not buy from them again I think bay corals treated you right last time and has shown themselves to be a quality provider i would look toward them again.
